Responsibilities
-Develops and applies Computer-Aided Design department (CAD) sofftware engineering methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems
-Assesses architecture and hardware limitations
-Develops routines and utility programs
-Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval
-Manages foundry process design KITs – installation and support
RequiredQualifications
-Has a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
-Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills
-Prior knowledge and experience of CAD tool development or PDK / Foundry design KITS development is a plus
-Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Usually developing professional expertise, and may apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. At a minimum has general proficiency with EDA tools, Unix OS, has scripting skills for bash and tcl scripting languages. Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
-The CCS team interacts on a daily base with worldwide located colleagues
-Solid skills in English are a must
