Description
Responsibilities
- Create and assist in delivering high quality bakery and pastry products to all Food and Beverage Outlets and Pastry shop
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen, as well as supervise and train the staff
- Ensure that all bakery, pastry preparation and presentation and kitchen sanitation practices meet with hotel standards and local legislations
- Monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them
- Other related duties as assigned
RequiredQualifications
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Organizing and leadership skills
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field will be plus
