Description
Title: Health & Safety and Civil Defense Officer, Syunik
Location: Goris
Reports to: Health and Safety Manager
Responsibilities
-Support in ensuring health and safety principles in the company, which covers the work organization, various technologies, work places and equipment as well as contractors taking part in the works
-Execute activities on technical security and works on civil defense
-Assist the company management and other officials in fulfilling the health and safety requirements
-Develop and implement programs for qualification, re-qualification and induction of employees to the health and safety system
-Organize the training and assessment of knowledge of the employees, servicing the high-risk equipment
-Prepare relevant reports and timely submit them to the manager
-Create civil defense forces (formations) and provide constant training
-Develop and establish civil protection plans
-Arrange civil protection activities
-Prepare the appropriate drafts of decisions, orders, instructions
-Control execution of civil defense activities
-Timely reaction to the accidents and emergency situations and works on the elimination of the consequences
-Control the maintenance of the security instructions, production sanitary standards by the employees
-Check the condition of and production sanitary in the workstations
-Ensure the availability of the production and official instructions, timely clarification of the schemes and charts
RequiredQualifications
-Higher education in the relevant field
-1 year of work experience at corresponding position
-Knowledge of civil defense principles and forms, provisions of ensuring of security and health measures for the employees according to the RA Labor Code, first medical aid are highly preferable
-Proficiency in English
-Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-Sense of responsibility, initiative person with good communication and teamwork skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
