HotNewHipHop, a website owned and operated by Urbanlinx Media Inc., is the world's largest Hip Hop focused site that engages with elusive young urban audience. We are looking for an ambitious Android Mobile App Developer with a passion for programming for its Armenia offices. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience with developing, shipping and maintaining native Android apps aimed at multiple form-factors. A degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate has strong dev-ops experience and has worked with deployment models and test-driven development in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities
-Develop native / hybrid mobile applications on Android platforms
-Responsible for architecture and design of mobile client for Android platforms
-Debug and enhance consumer facing mobile applications
-Develop client side interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and others as required.
-The Mobile App developer may be called upon to develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept as needed during the planning and design stages of projects
-Participate in all cycles of software design and development
-Perform unit and automated test case development
-Work in scrum project framework
RequiredQualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred or combined equivalent of education and/or experience
-3+ years experience in C/C++/Objective/Java/Kotlin, Git, JavaScript, Xcode, and API integration
-Swift experience is an asset
-Solid understanding of application extensions
-Solid understanding of auto layout concepts
-Solid understanding of object oriented (OO) analysis and design principles and demonstrated proficiency/expert knowledge in OO design
-Understanding of iOS development environments and tools is a plus
-Understanding of Android SDK
-Familiarity with mobile device security, services and APIs
-Solid understanding of performance issues of mobile devices and applications
-Strong user experience and design sense
-Ability to master new technologies quickly
-Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimization (ie, caching, security, and native hardware components (ie, Camera, GPS, etc.)).
-Experience with JSON, SOAP, Rest, XML and XHTML
-Experience with web front-end development frameworks such as HTML5 and JavaScript
-Good knowledge of PHP and MySQL
-Server side and application development experience is a must!
