Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient implementation of the Tumo program;
- Recruit and manage all local staff, including learning coaches and administrative team members, ensuring that they carry out their functions effectively and efficiently
- Act as a leader, motivating the team and ensuring they carry out their functions effectively and efficiently;
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the center activities including work distribution, quality monitoring and action plan follow up;
- Monitor the quality of delivered workshops and provide feedback to Educational Director;
- Support and encourage the professional development of the team members and provide necessary feedback and guidance to those who need improvement;
- Coordinate public events and manage onsite cafeteria
- Develop, prepare and analyze budgets and ensure a cost efficient use of resources in coordination with Yerevan headquarters;
- Regularly monitor the workflow and processes and make necessary proposals for improvements to maximize productivity;
- Represent TUMO in community events and host visitors;
- Mobilize resources for special projects and developing additional funding sources at a local and regional level
- Representing TUMO’s values and pedagogical philosophy in the local community
- Ensure effective communication with students, parents and local counterparts with the support of the TUMO communication department;
- Manage all questions related to visiting workshop leaders and staff;
- Suggest and initiate strategic partnerships with other organizations and individuals;
- Interface with counterparts such as local government bodies, national and international organizations and partners
- Ensure Tumo’s participation in and relevance to the development of Gyumri.
RequiredQualifications
- Highly dynamic and active personality with proven experience of team management;
- Ability and willingness to lead, guide and motivate others towards a common goal;
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, and to work in a changing environment
- Ability to assess and prioritize the different elements of a situation or problem and identify critical issues;
- Higher degree from a recognized university;
- Excellent communication skills, including written communication, personal interaction, and public presentation in Armenian and English languages;
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
