Responsibilities
Performance objectives: 1. Go live with the quality projects and products You will play an important role in our company's product development process with the direct responsibility of ensuring that everything runs smoothly. This means:
- Perform manual and automated testing: You will perform the right mix of manual testing and automated testing to optimize the cost and time required for successful completion of a project
- Identify potential problems users may encounter: uncertainty and failures are part of each software life, this is why we expect our future QA Engineer be able to quickly and accurately identify and manage software testing risks (proactivity matters!)
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing: this is a full-cycle responsibility to determine faults, communicate them clearly and resist any "it's not a bug, but a feature" case
- Research and analyze product features being tested 2. Find out the right methodology of testing for each software development team This means you are able to think strategically and ensure that the end product meets the clients' and business requirements combined. Coordination, leadership and ownership are the direct skillset to handle this objective. Typical tasks here include:
- Create test plans and test cases: the success of a testing project depends upon a well-written test plan document and well-researched cases which help to enhance the level of transparency of your work to the other teams
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Collaborate: you are expected to communicate with other teams, be open, honest and respectful to others ideas and opinions. We believe teamwork and intelligence win championships, hope you share this and enjoy common success as we do
RequiredQualifications
Must-have qualifications: 1. Relevant experience:
- 4+ years' experience in the QA positions,
- Experience of organization and multitasking with demonstrable results,
- Strong analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of testing types and techniques, ability to apply them in Agile
- Thorough understanding of Software Development life cycles
- Solid understanding of QA testing environments 2. Technical background:
- BA degree in IT (Computer Science or related fields)
- Experience with native iOS and Android mobile applications testing
- Web applications testing experienc
- Experience in API testing
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence, Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with web applications automated testing (Selenium, Webdriver, Protractor, TestNG, Jasmine frameworks)
- Experience with mobile applications automated testing (Appium)
- Knowledge of a scripting language (JS, Java, C#)
- Ability to document test cases
