Job: Grants Adviser at People in Need Company

Responsibilities

- Contribute to successful management of existing small grants
- Coordinate grantees needs assessment and capacity building processes
- Based on the grantees specific needs identify relevant experts/consultants for coaching
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to follow up implementation processes and provide consultations
- Check monitoring reports of the grantees
- Prepare monthly/quarterly monitoring reports on the implementation of each grant programs
- Be focal point for grantees regarding any financial and procurement processes or any other procedures needed for successful implementation of the project
- Provide business development advisory to grantees
- In coordination with the HoP, lead monthly review processes for all grants to assess progress against plans, lessons learned, and identify core action points for implementation
- Ensure that all grant paperwork is up to date
- Ensure proper communication between PIN and grantees

RequiredQualifications
Knowledge/ experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in grants management/ grants advisory
- Experience and skills in working with people and coordinating works of various stakeholders
- Proven experience in business development
- Understanding of business planning/modeling process
- Knowledge and experience with Business Model Canvas (advantage)
- Understanding of financial management and planning of small businesses
- Ability to read and explain basic financial statements
- Understanding of and proficiency in the use of monitoring and evaluation tools Qualifications/ Skills:
- Communication: proven communication and negotiation skills; being polite and respectful towards grantees and all stakeholders
- Planning and organizing: ability to plan own work and manage conflicting priorities
- Coordination: ability to coordinate the works by grantees
- Technology awareness: demonstrated experience with MS Office suite application particularly with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Teamwork: good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
- Trustworthiness and confidentiality
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages (listening, reading, writing, and speaking)
