Responsibilities
- Provide strategic communications
- Oversee existing communications channels and develop consensus around future channels based on industry practices and advancements in technology
- Determine the most effective strategies and techniques to engage employees in strategy, culture and mission
- Oversee efforts to obtain broad employee feedback to guide communications decisions
- Lead efforts in ensuring brand and voice consistency in all internal marketing, communications and event activities including print, office design, multi-media etc.
- Manage key elements of community and internal events such as planning, logistics, food & beverage planning, transportation and program development
- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication mediums
- Ensure communications are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization both internally and externally
- Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputations
- Proofread and edit materials, ensuring adherence to brand style guidelines and consistency in messaging
- Maintains relationships with various internal contacts in order to develop content; discuss and secure approval of content; and proactively identify content opportunities
- Assist with multi-media, photography and other digital assets supporting communications strategies
- Align efforts with brand and mission
- Other duties and projects as assigned
RequiredQualifications
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take complex ideas and communicate them
- Ability and agility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Confidence and poise to work closely with management
- Ability to influence in multiple ways and build credibility quickly with key stakeholders and peers
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Minimum 2 years of communications experience or equivalent work experience
