The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Yerevan is looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist who will process and manage the payroll, calculate wages based on hours worked, as well as administer the payments.
Responsibilities
- Gather information on hours worked for each employee;
- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses;
- Record, store, and/ or analyze computerized payroll information;
- Prepare, maintain, update and archive employee payroll records and files;
- Review and verify hours worked, pay adjustments and other pay-related information, and post information onto designated records;
- Compute employee wages; enter wages into payroll system;
- Provide information to employees and managers/ supervisors on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans;
- Organize, secure and maintain all files and records in accordance with policies and procedures;
- Maintain confidentiality of the information.
RequiredQualifications
- Higher education in Business, Accounting or a related field;
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist;
- Excellent knowledge of RA tax and labor laws and regulations;
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills;
- Self-driven person with a high level of attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Ability to work under pressure.
