Responsibilities
-Participate in design and implementation of enterprise applications for the Android platform
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and ship new features
-Integrate with with 3rd party APIs and data sources
-Write unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
-Work on bug fixes and improving existing application performance
-Understand and maintain complex Android app architecture
-Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Java code
-Identify and correct bottlenecks and conduct app performance profiling
-Document the app business logic and usage principles
-Help maintain code quality, organization and automation
-Coach and train junior members of the team
RequiredQualifications
-5+ years experience in software development
-3+ years of work experience in full-time mobile development
-Strong knowledge of Java and OOP
-Strong knowledge of Android SDK and other Android development tools
-General familiarity with RESTful APIs and networking capabilities of Android platform
-Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
-Experience in writing and publishing at least one Android app
-Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
-Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
-Familiarity with Google Play Developer Console and functionality
-Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
-Familiarity with Scrum methodology and Agile practices
-Strong logic and reasoning skills
-Strong team playing and collaboration skills
-Proactive, innovative and creative personality with can-do attitude
