Description
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has commissioned the Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) with the implementation of the regional project "Responsible Finance in the Caucasus and Ukraine" from March 2018 to February 2021. SBFIC supports its main partners, the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), the Union of Credit Organisations of the Republic of Armenia (UCORA) and the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) to achieve the joint overall objective to increase the participation of the relevant target group (disadvantaged population groups, youth and women) in the financial system in Armenia. The above mentioned regional project aims at implementing "Responsible Finance" in the extended Caucasus region and Ukraine, encompassing financial literacy, consumer protection and the responsible provision of financial services.
This position is not a part-time position; it shall provide fresh graduates an option to start a professional career through initial work experience. We provide an internship certificate for the term of service with the SBFIC.
Responsibilities
-Supporting the project management in specified tasks
-Supporting monthly accounting processes of the Armenian office to headquarters
-Supporting monitoring and monthly reporting processes to headquarters
-Supporting specified project implementation activities with other long-term experts
-Supporting the office administrator and receptionist, i.e. in procurement processes and as stand-in during times of absence
-Supporting knowledge management and public relations
RequiredQualifications
-Finished academic degree (i.e. Bachelor) in the area of business administration or banking business, with a focus on accounting and bookkeeping
-First professional experience in the area of responsibilities
-Knowledge of procurement processes (i.e. competitive tenders)
-Knowledge of project management, especially monitoring and reporting
-First experience in conducting social studies and analyses
-Language skills: Armenian (mother tongue), English (fluent), German (is a strong asset)
-Good working knowledge of ICT technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
-Willingness to develop skills as required by the tasks to be performed–corresponding measures are agreed with management
