Responsibilities

• Design software architecture and specifications in collaboration with the System Architect, Software Engineers and Designers;
• Design and implement highly scalable and distributed back-end systems using Node.js;
• Configure Automated Integration, Delivery and Scaling of apps on Cloud.
• Integrate web applications with 3rd party web services;
• Implement partner APIs
• Design and implement security and data protection;
• Design and implement data storage solutions;
• Participate in product planning and task estimation, deliver on time;
• Contribute to the best coding practices and standards used across the team;
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications;
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies;
• Interest in research and work with blockchain technology.

RequiredQualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or in a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in developing web applications
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and hands on Node.js
• Strong knowledge of Software Engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms
• Knowledge of Bash Scripting and Docker containers
• Knowledge of DevOps toolchain is a big plus
• Knowledge of C++ and data processing technologies is a big plus
• Knowledge of React is a big plus
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Experience with Git
• Good communication skills, easygoing and positive personality.
