Responsibilities
- Perform installation and configuration of servers and network equipment as well as workstations
- Setup the office system and network infrastructure based on best practice policies
- Set up accounts and roles
- Monitor performance and maintain network environment, PCs and server systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and unplanned outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Build an internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Be flexible with the working in non-working hours
RequiredQualifications
Must-have requirements:
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- 4+ years' experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and administering Microsoft Windows 2016 R2 or higher, including advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group policy, App locker, IIS web server, DNS, DHCP
- 2+ years' experience in Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with anti-virus/malware products at the enterprise server level.
- Experience in virtualization such as Hyper-V or VMware, which includes: clustering, VM migration, P2V/V2V, and add/modify/remove tasks.
- Experience in basic networking technologies which include VLANs, DMZs, switch/routers, firewall ACLs, DNS, DHCP.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, including configuration, break/fix, automated deployment, performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of installations for security patches, functional patches, and version upgrades.
- Ability to quickly obtain new knowledge of specific applications within the environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution.
- Scripting ability preferred (PowerShell, VBScript plus WMI extensions)
- Excellent communication skills, steadiness and loyalty with the customer
- Excellent in technical English language Preferred requirements:
- Experience with High availability and Failover clustering systems
- Familiarity with basic enterprise storage technologies including SAN/NAS, backups
- Professional certification (e.g. MCSA, VCP, …)
