Description
RedKite LLC is looking for a Linux Applications Developer. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented team member with the ability to prioritize well, openly communicate, and have a consistent experience and excellent software engineering skills. The Company is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who wants to continue his/ her career in the Embedded Division with frequent travels around Europe. This position requires a year-long commitment with a client in Sweden. For the right candidates and their immediate family members the relocation and associated logistics are handled by the Company and its European partner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BSP releases for industrial network platforms;
- Debug and fix Linux kernel drivers;
- Work on development of firmware applications for Linux and Bare metal systems for use in automotive systems for engine monitoring/ control and status and configuration consoles.
RequiredQualifications
- Excellent knowledge of C programming language;
- At least 3 years of experience in developing applications and middleware modules for Linux OS;
- Excellent knowledge of Linux Application debugging techniques;
- Excellent knowledge of Linux inter-process communication mechanisms;
- Excellent knowledge of GIT, Gerrit and other tools used in Linux kernel source code management;
- Excellent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written.
