Responsibilities

- Partners with employees and vendor partner consultants from different locations in the development and delivery of Specialty web applications
- Identifies process improvement and code synergies achieved through innovative ideas and critical thinking
- Ensures projects/initiatives are completed within designated time frames and tracks progress reports to management
- Works on resolution of urgent and on-going problems to ensure their team's contribution to overall reliability
- Understands new projects, explains them to appropriate parties, provides suggestions for optimal process of completion, and realistic timeline estimates
- Ensures defects are quickly assessed and/or mitigated and resolved, whether in non-production or production.
- Represents Information Technology in cross-functional meetings and projects
- Prepares for, implements and communicates new corporate initiatives and processes within assigned team

RequiredQualifications

- College degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
- Proven technical leadership skills and project delivery history in leading high talent teams in local and remote locations

- 3-5 years experience in a lead or mentor role within front-end web development
- Highly proficient in JavaScript (Angular, jQuery, other frameworks/libraries are welcome)
- PHP Familiarity is a plus
- Evident knowledge in user interface basics
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 development as well as experience with CSS frameworks (Blueprint, Bootstrap), as well as understanding of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
- Demonstrated experience with source control management tools such as Git, SVN, TFS or CVS
- In-depth knowledge in CMS (WordPress, HubSpot)
- Ability to be an agent of change, handle complex technical problems into smaller simple solutions, and create a culture that supports high team morale
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
- Knowledge in SCRUM and Agile methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English
