Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into development of Android applications and features
- Support the maintenance of code quality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to build great experiences
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
RequiredQualifications
- 1+ years Android development experience with a good use of Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio and device fragmentation issues
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Java development experience and SQLite
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with build systems (Gradle or others)
- Experience with continuous integration systems (Bamboo, Jenkins, Travis, etc.)
- Good knowledge of English
