Responsibilities
Lydian Armenia is seeking an experienced and motivated person to fill the position of Chief Mechanical Engineer at Lydian's Amulsar Process Plant. The position reports to the Process Manager. The Chief Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the safe and cost-effective maintenance of all the processing plant, with a particular focus on planning shutdowns and improving runtime. In the initial period, the Chief Mechanical Engineer's main focus will be startup preparation, in particular the hiring of the mechanical workforce, the training of this workforce, and the setting up of the computerized planning system.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Engineering or trades qualifications with extensive experience
- Supervisory and management experience
- Experience of planning and executing plant shutdowns
- Experience of computerized maintenance management systems
- A committed attitude to safety management and a willingness to learn and apply the latest safety practices
