Responsibilities
- Maintain the ARGE Business's asset list; organize regular inventory checks; ensure proper records of assets, their depreciation, revaluation and disposal, small value items and consumables
- Prepare monthly payroll, calculate, and transfer staff salaries and other salary equivalents, payments the under-service contracts, income tax and other taxes, liabilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and other periodical reports to local tax authorities in line with the Armenian legislation, as well as provide upon the Supervisor's request other reports, notes, and other information
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the CFO on any changes that may affect the budget, operations and activities of the Company
- Make error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Review and recommend changes in accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in the establishment of financial standards
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Plan, assign and review the Staff's work
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Fulfill other tasks within the scope this position that match the position's profile, in line with the internal policies and procedures and the local legislation
RequiredQualifications
- Highest education in economics, accounting
- Chief Accountant qualification certificate issued by the RA Ministry of Finance; knowledge of IFRS Standards
- Knowledge of Armenian and international accounting standards
- Knowledge of Armenian and Russian languages, knowledge of English is desirable
- Perfect knowledge of -1C and AS Accounting Software; MS Office
- Work experience: 5 years in relevant field
