Responsibilities
- Contribute to the organization of open lessons at schools on the topic of water conservation, efficient water resource management, environmental and health protection, etc.
- Develop training modules and educational materials for communities and local governments to cover topics such as water basin planning, regulatory framework, and transparency water permit issuance, climate change and water resource, water management bodies in Armenia, Water-health-environment, etc.
- Conduct targeted trainings with different groups of stakeholders, including youth, CWGs, women, WUAs, CSOs. (e.g. trainings on basin management)
- Participate in drafting informational materials – brochures, leaflets related to water quality, water use, water basin management and planning, etc. to be disseminated among target communities and other project stakeholders
- Attend Q&A sessions organized for the communities, collect and analyze data, based on the results of Q&A sessions draft comprehensive information materials concerning each of the issues, questions raised during the sessions
- Contribute to drafting of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to be included in awareness raising brochures
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in development, political/social science, environmental management or other relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in water sector. USAID-program experience is encouraged
- Experience in campaign planning and implementation on national or local issues
- Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, teamwork and leadership skills
- Fluency in written and spoken Armenian and English is required
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel and other database software
