Responsibilities
Performing duties as assigned to include:
- Perform manual testing to optimize project cost time frame
- Quickly and accurately identify potential issues that users may encounter
- Manage software testing risks
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
- Resist the "it's not a bug, it's a feature" cases
- Research and analyze tested product features
- Find out the right methodology of testing for each software development team
- Make sure the end product meets the clients' and the business' requirements
- Create and document test plans
- Research test cases
- Ensure transparency of your work to the other teams
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and its release readiness
- Communicate with other teams
RequiredQualifications
- BA in IT (Computer Science or a related field)
- 2+ years of experience in QA
- Thorough understanding of Software Development life cycles
- Knowledge of QA techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools
- Understanding of QA testing environments,
- Excellent analytical skills
- The ability to investigate and research multiple sources
- Experience with Web-Based testing applications
- Experience in API and front-end testing (both web and mobile)
- Experience in test planning, test scenarios and test case creation
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS and UI design) are a big plus
- Experience in SQL databases and queries is a big plus
