Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure accounting entries for all assigned entities are processed on an accurate and timely basis
- Review and perform reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and ensure that discrepancies are identified and resolved
- Work with the NEF UK Controller, perform quarterly reconciliations of inter-entity balances and ensure all inter-entity transactions are identified to enable accurate consolidations
- Ensure recharges between projects are processed and reconciled monthly
- Provide overall technical and administrative support in the areas of financial management and grants management for the project
- Overseeing procurement, cost allocation, financial reporting, payroll, grants management, and tracking support
- Setting up, supervising, and providing technical assistance related to the grant-management component of program activities
- Ensuring that all financial and grants management is compliant with EU grants management and financial management regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
RequiredQualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or in a related sphere
- 4 years of demonstrated experience working in financial management, accounting, and grants management
- Excellent written and spoken Armenian
- Strong written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Armenian tax legislation and accounting standards
- Strong financial analysis and report writing skills
- Must be eligible to work and reside in Armenia without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in accounting and financial management of EU-funded projects
