Responsibilities
- Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods
- Collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
- Provide creative insight and leadership for web and mobile web experiences
- Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry's standards
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphics design or IT
- 2+ years of design or relevant experience using tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision
- Strong portfolio showcasing examples of work to be presented and defended during interview (please include link in job application)
- Thorough understanding of designing mobile apps for Android and iOS platforms, and ability to translate a functional website into its equivalent mobile app preserving all the features and functionality and being able to suggest additional areas to add functionality
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Strong English language skills including writing and speaking Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript
- Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process
- Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon
