Responsibilities
Under direct supervision of Project Finance Manager the Finance and Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for reviewing grant applications, preparing grant agreements, monitoring grantees' financial reports, execute monitoring site visits, maintain regular contacts with grantees and prepare regular financial reports. Particularly, s/he will be responsible for the following:
- Examine capacity of applicant organization to manage/implement grant project, review legal and financial documentation provided during the tender/application process
- Conduct due diligence for sub-grant projects in coordination with Program Team
- Draft Grant Agreements, necessary Amendments and Budget revisions
- Support preparation of grant/project contracts and other administrative documentation
- Support preparation and conducting grant management and orientation workshops
- Arrange and execute site visits, to monitor the implementation of grant projects and ensure proper and timely financial reporting from grantees
- Establish and manage grants management files for each sub-grant project
- Prepare requests for Grant Payments and other relevant forms
- Draft grant/project Close-out memorandum and prepare all required close-out documentation
- Conduct any other assignments within the scope of the Foundation's activity and current ToR upon request from the Project Team Leader

RequiredQualifications

- Higher education, preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Minimum of two years' work experience, preferably in the financial and administrative positions
- Knowledge of accounting standards and local civil legislation is mandatory
- English and Armenian language proficiency
- Excellent computer skills, including working with Excel tables and accounting softwares
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable working both individually and as a part of the team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills: writing, speaking and listening
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the regions
- Willingness to enhance knowledge through training and personal initiative
- Willingness to perform other duties and work irregular hours
