Responsibilities
- Work in cooperation with other Game Programmers, artists, animators and level designers to design, implement, polish, debug and optimize high quality gameplay features and systems
- Involvement in all areas of game development including Programming of Graphics, Game Logic and UI
- Support and contribute new ideas to game design
- Write robust code to be used by millions of users
- Write clean, professional, and maintainable code
- Proactively problem-solve performance and stability issues when necessary
- Work as part of a team, but with plenty of opportunity to take responsibility on an individual level
RequiredQualifications
- Wide understanding of different game technology areas (gameplay, graphics, tools etc.)
- You will be programming in Java, so experience and knowledge of Java is must.
- Additional experience in C++ or C# is a bonus
- Strong debugging skills with ability to work in a large existing codebase, learn new systems/concepts and implement them quickly and efficiently
- Game knowledge and passion and an understanding of the design principles behind games
- Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code
- Passion for games
- Good communication skills, able to work well under pressure
