The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Yerevan is looking for a professional and responsible candidate for the position of Chief Accountant who will be accountable for day to day finance and accounts operations, the preparation of all financial and tax documents, as well as implementation of financial strategies of the Company.

Responsibilities
- Manage Accounting Department;
- Report, analyse and ensure the integrity of all financial information;
- Maintain, record and reconcile all general ledger accounts and be responsible for all Company accounts;
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP/ IFRS;
- Prepare tax, statistical and other reports according to the RA Legislation and deadlines;
- Assist the Director of Finance in all stages leading to the preparation of all monthly financial reports and analyses;
- Determine proper handling of financial transactions;
- Responsible for inventory accounting;
- Work with both internal and external auditors during financial audits;
- Maintain and administer accounting software and database;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or other related fields;
- At least 5 years of work experience in finance and accounting, from which 3 years as a Chief Accountant;
- Experience in the hotels is preferable;
- Excellent knowledge of the Armenian tax legislation;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel);
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality;
- Knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Flexibility with timeframe and ability to keep the deadlines.
