Responsibilities
- Assist TRDP Artsakh office and team leader in day to day program operations
- Perform site/premise observations and background checks of potential rural applicants gathering the required information on the applicants' capacity
- Participate in business plan evaluation process and provide risk assessment analysis on each business plan
- Provide support to team leader in processing the loans from initiation to closing by coordinating the preparation and review of required loan documentation to meet the requirements of the program and partnering bank
- Identify and inform the early signs of emerging problems during implementation of the funded businesses and come up with practical solutions
- Process late payments' notices received from the bank and recommend legal action, as necessary
- Work with problematic beneficiaries on proposed payment plans and business recovery resolutions. Comply with all reporting guidelines and timeframes regarding the collection of past due accounts. Follow the monthly loan repayments, including late and problematic payments
- Manage business recovery process with the beneficiary via regular visits to business premises for checking physical inventory and ensuring purposeful spending of the loan installments
- Prepare a monthly report of activities performed. Submits the reports to the TRDP Artsakh team leader and TRDP director of field operations
- Perform other tasks assigned by the team leader or higher level management of TRDP
RequiredQualifications
- MA in business, economics, finance or other relevant fields
- At least two years of experience in banking sphere
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (including with local village residents)
- Experience in data management and analysis
- Critical thinking and business risk assessment skills
- Excellent written and spoken Armenian, knowledge of English is an advantage
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Ability and willingness to travel to rural areas of Artsakh
