Description
Andava Digital Marketing Agency is currently seeking a Full Stack WordPress Developer responsible both for back-end and front-end development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and functionality;
- Maintain existing WordPress sites;
- Develop WordPress plugins and/ or themes;
- Leverage WordPress APIs and extend the WordPress admin experience;
- Solve complex problems in simple ways;
- Solve bugs and address client issues in a fast-paced environment;
- Juggle the current projects with incoming tasks;
- Establish and guide the website's technical architecture;
- Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment;
- Deploy changes to live servers;
- Assist in the remediation, enhancement, and maintenance of sites.
RequiredQualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development;
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions;
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3;
- Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level;
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL;
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/ or web applications;
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites;
- Ability to work both as an individual contributor and as part of a team;
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Self-starter that can multitask, solve problems, and take ownership of projects;
- Strong understanding of WordPress DevOps;
- Impeccable skills in problem-solving and bug fixing;
- Good knowledge of English language.
