Description
Monitis is looking for Senior Full Stack Software Developer / Technical Lead who will join our world class team in developing and extending Monitis products.
Responsibilities
-Participate in application design
-Provide necessary technical and design documentation
-Apply development experience against big projects and use agile practices to continuously innovate and incrementally deliver system functionality
-Be responsible for determining the appropriate data models, data transformation technologies and algorithms needed to advance the organization's mission efficiency
-Prepare and help team to prepare the design; should have a very good understanding of the project architecture
-Conduct project risk identification and mitigation action planning with the PM at the project level advocates for the team's technical quality by insisting on design and code reviews, performance tests, by encouraging test automation, and helping refine unit test strategies
-Package and support deployment of releases
-Works with team in administering and resolving applications issues, perform root cause analysis and provide timely updates
-Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
-Communicate effectively with local management and external team members
-Develop features according to technical specifications
-Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
RequiredQualifications
-University degree in the appropriate field of studies
-At least 5 years of practical experience in Web Application development
-At least 3 years of experience with the following: JavaScript, Object-Oriented JavaScript, JQuery, Ext- js, XML, AJAX
-Ability to create professional Web pages using HTML/ HTML5, CSS/ CSS3 technologies
-At least 2 years of practical experience in working on highly scaled production environment
-Experience with Apache Tomcat server and proficiency with Linux/Unix environment
-Experience in Java web development
-Knowledge of MySQL
-Knowledge of databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, HBase) is a plus
-Knowledge of Selenium IDE is plus
-Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
-Experience with ORM tools;
-Experience in understanding system security and how to implement them (Ex, SQL Injections, Cookies etc)
-Ability to perform code reviews and recommend automated review tools for the project
-Ability to think through performance requirements for a system and come out with testing those scenarios and troubleshoot server runtime issues that result
-Good analytical skills
-Experience with source control and defect tracking system.
-Flexibility - responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work.
-Ability to work in an agile team
-Good knowledge of English language, both on communication and technical level
