Description
Ginosi Apartels is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to extract information from the incredible amount of data available to us, identify statistically significant trends, design and interpret statistically valid surveys and prepare executive reports on performance and other metrics to be used for steering and strategy purposes. The incumbent will be a part of the PIQA (Process Improvement and Quality Assurance) team, directly reporting to the PIQA Manager.
Responsibilities
-Collect, Organize, Interpret and Analyze data, using statistical methods and enterprise software
-Provide data analysis for various internal/external reports
-Continuously improve the quality of collected data and information derived from the data
-Weigh in as the data analyst to help the executive team make data-driven decisions
-Assess project risks based on the probability and impact matrix
-Help internal clients define their study question and correctly design surveys to collect the needed data
-Acquire data from direct and indirect data sources and express it in terms of relevant information
-Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
-Filter and "clean" data by reviewing raw data listings
-Drive the multi-departmental KPI system
-Act as a liaison between departmental end-users and software developers in the analysis, algorithms, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of Ginosi's analytical software (Reports and Statistics module, Automated Rate Optimization module, etc.)
-Conduct change impact analysis
-Run simulation models for business case analysis and forecasting purposes
RequiredQualifications
-B.S./M.S. in Statistics, Applied Probability, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Management
-At least 3 years work experience in data analysis, data management, big data or a relevant field
-Working proficiency with data analysis and statistical software
-Adept at queries, report writing and presenting information
-Meticulous attention to details
-Accuracy and ability to ensure reliability and quality of information
-Good communication skills (written and verbal)
